On Saturday 19th November 2011 Lidcombe Oval, Church Street Auburn  will burst into life with sights, sound and flavours of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands – Welcome to the 9th annual  Pacific Unity Festival.

Due to the huge growth of the annual Pacific Unity Festival over the last few years the committee has made the decision to relocate to a new venue, enabling us to better cater for the needs of our grass roots festival, community and general public who have supported this event over many years.

The Pacific Unity Festival is a gathering of  Pacific communities and the general public in New South Wales– celebrating together the multi-cultural diversity of Australia. The main aims of the day are to raise awareness of Pacific communities, their businesses, sport and the support services that are made available to help the community.

The event format brings together sport (touch football and netball tournament), food, arts, community service stalls and live performances at a single venue. To make the day even better ENTRY  IS  FREE.

Pacific Unity welcomes all people irrespective of age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, religion, political view and country of origin.

Promoting the services and networks of the Pacific community will benefit people from all different backgrounds. Celebrating together at the Pacific Unity Festival is a fun and effective way of achieving many positive outcomes.
